NPM - Rime of the Ancient Mariner

In honor of National Poetry Month, we're presenting a poem each day for April. This is the thirtieth of the series: The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, read by Tycho.

  1. Uuuuggghhhhhhh.
I'm really REALLY sorry about that, everybody. I have NO IDEA what the hell happened with the editing on this one. I edited it. I remember editing it.
I edited it TWICE cause I had to re-record it cause I wasn't happy with the sound quality the first time. I'm still not happy with the sound quality now, but what's worse than that, is that within THE FIRST SEVEN MINUTES, there are two yawns, an extended pause, and two false starts. I didn't even listen anymore after that, so humiliated and embarassed as I was.
Atrocious and unforgivable, and I offer my humblest apologies.
I have no idea how it happened. All I can think is that I somehow or other uploaded the unedited file to Zoey, except that I only export it to MP3 when I'm COMPLETELY done editing, so all I can offer is my apologies, and hope you won't hold it against me.
There are plenty of things to hold against me- I'm an inadvertent asshole, and a stupid bitter cynical jerk, but don't hold THIS particular incident against me. Unless you really want to. I probably deserve it, and I'm holding it against me anyway.
