A Greedy Bitches Dinner!

In episode 4, we visit Louisville, KY and Philadelphia, PA. While there, we study the use of random capitalization, we jinx ourselves in the intro, and briefly touch on topiary and Sondheim. Also, Tycho isn't bitter at all. Not even a little bit.

  1. It was great minus a few strained pauses.

Though I don't again with Tycho's statement about age and dating. A lot of it is almost case to case, some are forced to grow up sooner, generals just don't work. Just my opinion, but one should take life into account and not just age.

Tycho's reading voice is pretty awesome, that alone makes some of the less funny posts funny.

Thanks for the Work and look forward to the next.

  3. You know, when I was going through and editing it together, I wanted to make sure to take out the longer pauses. All the ones I left in, I thought were of an appropriate length, but I guess I missed some. Still feeling my way, I guess.

Can you point me to which pauses were a little too long, so I can make a note for future casts?

And I agree with your statement about life and not just age. There's more for me to say about this, but I don't really have the time right now. Can you shoot an email to the email address, and we can enter into a more indepth discussion about it?

Thanks for listening, and I hope you continue to enjoy it. (Brace yourself, though, the next couple of episodes may be a little rough.)

  4. If you heard the "friends with benefits" rules and thought to yourself "ok, so those rules aren't good, and now I'm totally lost! What are some guidelines I can follow?" may I suggest Pop Waffle's guide, "How To Have Casual Sex"

It's a cute video even if you aren't looking for advice on the topic.

  5. Zoey-- That was a great video and thank you for posting it. The "Friends with benefits" post was so outrageously wrong. I'm glad there is a better guild line out there for those that need them.

Tycho-- I guess strained was the wrong word. It wasn't that they were too long, they were just a little awkward and it might have just been me.

Also we did have an email going, though if it still is or not, is up to you. Would gladly carry on the age/life topic though.

Might be rough? Not cool to give a mere crumb like that. But I am looking forward to them, rough or not.

Thanks for the hard work and taking the time to reply/post on here.
